Kamran Sattar is Chief Executive Officer & Co founder of Portillion Capital Ltd.
Kamran started his career with humble beginnings at an early age with one of the largest banks in the world. He was quickly recognised for his work ethic and drive resulting in him securing various high profile roles within the bank, which included being one of the most successful and youngest financial advisors in the banks 250 year history. He helped develop many client friendly procedures, presenting and teaching various managers and advisors on best practices enabling the bank to gain market share over its competitors. Kamran went on to personally manage funds of over £173,000,000 for the bank.
Kamran was then head hunted and left his role at the bank after 9 years for one of the world’s leading building societies to help develop their client base and financial advisory proposition. He had an enjoyable and successful career at the building society before again being head hunted, this time by one of the world’s most recognised Islamic asset management companies managing over 6 billion USD of funds looking to break into the UK market. Although he was recruited as an investment advisor, Kamran went on to play a vital role within this company helping them to develop their brand within the UK. This ranged from website design, marketing and gaining FSA approval to daily management, running and reporting of their UK head office and working closely with the board of directors.
After successfully helping the company obtain a FSA licence Kamran became one of the highest performing investment advisors within the company helping them break into key markets and introducing a large number of new clients to the firm’s funds.
Kamran currently holds various financial qualifications including Cert PFS, DipFA, and DipMA. After attaining valuable experience and expertise over the past 11 years, Kamran gained the confidence to finally execute his passion and setup Portillion Capital Ltd which is now fully authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to provide financial solutions to individuals and businesses.
