The Farthing is a family run business, with family values at its core, My wife Sharon and myself Elliott started our Limited Company in November 2008, we were young but had a clear view that we had to provide for our two young children and now years on, yes the children are more demanding, three dogs to feed, one cat and our beautiful horse Dougal and with only 24 hours in a day we are lucky to be surrounded by the elegant slopes of the Dorset Countryside.
Whilst Sharon is busy running our shop I am busy packaging, photographing, optimizing and always searching for beautiful accessories to dress the home, items that can be difficult to find, products that accentuate and a statement every time you look at them, items that are unique and coming up with collections that make our store, well... our store.
