ABOUT RIVERSIDE VETERINARY CARE LIMITED
As you may be aware, Riverside Veterinary Care shares out-of-hours duties with Abbey Veterinary Centres. We currently cover an area reaching as far afield as Sennybridge and Lydney.
Providing a traditional emergency call out service is becoming more difficult as our vets already work a full working week, and the increasing weekend emergency workload means that we are contravening current Working Time Regulations.
In order to improve the service that our clients receive out of hours, we are working towards a dedicated out-of-hours service. This will take some time to put into place, but in the meantime we will be trialling a new shift pattern.
On the remaining weekends, Abbey Veterinary Centre on Hereford Road, in Abergavenny, will provide emergency cover for our clients.
