Riverside Training works closely with Schools & Colleges throughout Herefordshire offering support to staff and students. We regularly attend careers events providing impartial advice on the future opportunities, CV advice and interview techniques and are always on hand to deliver presentations to young people about the options that are available to them.

If you feel you are not ready for a full time job, you could try a Traineeship, a period of work experience with training to help you secure a full time position
Mock interviews are a great way for us to be able to support and facilitate young people and Riverside Training attend a number of these at various different schools and colleges across Herefordshire. We can also be found at many of the various career events, apprenticeship talks, drop in sessions and have strong links with school career advisors which enables us to support learners on an individual basis.
Helping schools succeed with careers advice & apprenticeships
We have worked with Riverside Training Association for some years. They support us in informing our students of the opportunities available through apprenticeships locally. Staff show a commitment and enthusiasm for each and every applicant to ensure the best outcome for them.
Weobley High School enjoys working in partnership with Riverside Training. They are actively involved in helping our students to take the next step, by attending careers information evenings, interviewing students on mock interview days, coming to explain apprenticeships to small groups or assemblies, as well as speaking to individual students about possible apprenticeships.
