BEAKS wild bird food was the brain child of Ian and Gareth Starmer in 2011. Having been making marine fish pellets for the 2 years previous, along with fishing baits for many markets for 28 years prior to that, they decided to expand their pelleting expertise into other areas. The logical conclusion was to make suet pellets for the bird feeding and thus BEAKS was born. Spending over a year perfecting their formula, they devised a fantastic product for the garden. The proof they say is in the suet, with a great range of pellets that birds love everywhere.

Suet pellets are a high fat, high protein and highly digestible pellet designed specifically for the feeding of wild birds. While suet pellets are mainly used in the winter to attract a wide range of wild birds to the garden, they can in fact be used all year round and will be hoovered up by most birds very quickly. Suet pellets really come in to their own however in the colder seasons, when food and nutrients are scarce from natural sources. Feeding suet pellets in the winter will mean a whole variety of birds will visit you that normally wouldn't. Not only will you benefit from the added visual appeal of many different species of bird being in and visiting your garden, the birds also benefit as well. By eating the suet pellets the birds gain valuable fat & protein reserves they otherwise wouldn't be able to find which really helps them during the cold frosty nights.
