These 8 Attitudes have been created to assist you to change your life by building the confidence and passion to fulfill your dreams.
I’ve spent the majority of my career assisting others not just to cope with change in their lives but to embrace it. Change is inevitable in life. If we are not able to embrace change, we will find ourselves stuck where we are, growing more and more frustrated and unhappy.
And for women, there are few periods of change more overwhelming than their midlife years. I first realised this when I noticed that the vast majority of attendees on my personal development programmes were women in their forties or older. Many of them had reached a stage in their lives when they had begun questioning the direction in which they were heading in. I was curious about this, especially as they seemed to be choosing me as their ‘teacher’ because they viewed me as a midlife role model. I reflected on this for a while before I realised that the solution had been staring me in the face for some time. With my wide ranging experience as a coach and a trainer, and the fact that I am a midlife woman myself and had experienced many of the same emotions, I was well-placed to help women make their midlife years something to be looked forward to rather than feared. The concept of Age with Attitude was born!
I was born in the East End of London and was the first woman in my family to go to university and the first to have a successful consulting career within one of the big ‘4’. In my 40’s, I made the scary move into entrepreneurship by starting my own business. I did this primarily because I believed that I could make a bigger impact on people’s lives by taking control of my own destiny. I am a certified Master Trainer of NLP, the first woman certified by the American Board of NLP in the UK, Master Trainer of Time Line Therapy™ and Trainer of Hypnotherapy. I have also written four books on the topic of organisational and personal development, including the best-seller ‘Change Your Life with NLP’.
