ABOUT CUMBRIA COLD STORAGE LIMITED
The family owned company Cumbria Cold Storage Limited was founded by Tom Cragg and Don Cuttriss in 1958, under the name Cragg and Cuttriss, which it still trades under today.
Alongside the haulage operation the storage facilities were built to help with the bulk haulage, and after time the demand for bulk storage in the area reduced and chilled storage became more apparent, and the stores were modernised in 1988, and made temperature controlled. Since then the company has evolved into a nationwide haulage and storage operation.
Cumbria Cold Storage Ltd specialise in bulk and temperature controlled distribution, alongside temperature controlled cold storage and warehousing, with an independent repacking facility on site.
With over 50 years experience in the road haulage industry, we have developed a well established business that can provide cost effective, efficient and most of all reliable service for supply-chain logistics in the chilled and bulk road haulage industry both nationally and internationally.
From chilled haulage, we are also now a well established cold store, and have been operating in this industry for over 20 years, and in this time we have built a good reputation for efficient reliable cold storage.
