Manors is one of central London’s most prominent estate agents. Established in 1975, we are professional, proactive and independent, and our knowledge of the local residential property market is second to none.
We have a strong presence on the web and our proactive approach to marketing guarantees local, national and international exposure for the properties we represent. We are therefore able to achieve optimum prices for our clients.
Our core business is residential sales, lettings and property management, however we can also assist with lease extensions and renewals, mortgages, and property development and refurbishment in conjunction with our sister company, Base Interiors.
Our office is situated in the heart of central London in an unbeatable and highly visible location on the corner of Portman Square and Baker Street, moments from Selfridges and Oxford Street, one of the world’s busiest shopping areas. Surrounded by luxury hotels and overseas banks, we are perfectly placed to attract high net worth individuals looking for properties to buy or rent in central London.
Why instruct Manors to sell or let your property?
We are committed to providing honest advice and the highest level of personal service.
With over 35 years' experience in the property industry, we know what we’re doing and we are here to support you every step of the way, whether you’re based in the UK or overseas.
We have been selling and letting residential property in central London since 1975 and we know the area in which we operate intimately.
The majority of our clients prefer to arrange viewings during business hours, but at Manors we know that this isn’t always possible which is why we are generally available to conduct viewings after hours or on Saturdays & Sundays. However, we also liaise with vendors and landlords to ensure that any out of hours viewings don’t cause unnecessary inconvenience. We accompany all viewings, staying on hand to answer any queries, and provide regular viewing feedback to assist with your selling or letting decision.
At Manors we take the time to sit down with applicants to discuss their individual requirements. We can therefore assess whether your property is likely to meet their needs in order to avoid wasting your time or theirs with unnecessary viewings. In addition, we do our utmost to ensure that potential buyers have the necessary funding in place and can meet your preferred timescales. This preparation helps us to match buyers and tenants with the properties we represent more effectively and maximises the chance of applicants being interested in your property when they come to view it.
Thanks to our close working relationship with Base Interior, we are able to offer free interior design advice to help prospective vendors and landlords decide whether it would make financial sense to renovate a property before selling or letting it. Base Interior can oversee any renovation work on your behalf from start to finish if required.
Manors roots have been firmly entrenched in London’s Baker Street since the company was first established in 1975. Initially based at 36 Baker Street in first floor offices on the corner of Blandford Street, over the next decade, the company expanded steadily as its reputation grew and due to its large and rapidly expanding client base, the company moved to more spacious street level premises at 26 Baker Street in 1993. A new residential sales division was established enabling further growth in a very competitive market.
The new division went from strength to strength, focusing on residential sales and acquiring and selling residential investment buildings. Two years later, Manors’ growing success forced the company to relocate to larger street level premises at 1 Baker Street, where it is currently located. Today, the company’s operations are overseen by Paul Sellar, whilst the sales department is led by Dominique Zarbhanelian and the lettings department is led by Trudy Younger. From its double-fronted street level office at 1 Baker Street, Manors commands one of the most enviable and highly visible positions in Central London.
Manors were the consummate professionals when it came to the sale of my flat. They were instructed alongside 3 other local estate agents and always remained optimistic and enthusiastic that they would sell the flat and that is exactly what they did, selling the property for a record breaking price in the area, a lot higher than my expectations. Congratulations and well done. Excellent job.
I look forward to doing many more deals with you and Manors in 2014. Merry Christmas and happy New Year!!
The work done by Ms Dominique Zarbhanelian over the sale of our flat on Montagu Square was truly remarkable. The sale was complicated from various sides, not least the freeholders making the exchange extremely awkward. Dominique kept her cool over a period of 3 months. Kept the buyer in line while managing us, the seller, very well. When the sale fell through she was the only agent (Foxtons also mandated) to find another buyer within a 10 day period. In short, she ran the process with complete professionalism and it got done thanks to her focus and delicate touch. She is a credit to your team. We have given her another flat on Montagu Square to sell given her superb handling of this deal.
I have dealt with Manors in buying and selling properties and have found them to be very professional in their approach to both clients and applicants alike. A cut above the rest. Dominique has been a very good addition to the team.
Manors were different in every aspect from other agents we have worked with before. They were knowledgeable and knew the market extremely well, they were highly professional and friendly throughout the process and achieved a selling price above and beyond our expectations. We have since recommended them to family and friends.
I am very pleased with the services you provided and the prompt sale of the flat within a very short time. I am really happy with the price you achieved and congratulations to all of your sale team that provided me excellent work and co-operation.
