Appointed Senior Postholder and SMT member of an FE College in his early 20’s, Neil has over 20 years SMT experience gained in Colleges in London, the North East and the Midlands. He is an experienced consultant with detailed knowledge of options appraisal, merger and acquisition and all round transformational change. Neil is a strategic thinker who has also led two Training Providers as well as the Funding, Curriculum Performance, Leadership and Internal Audit functions of a national professional services company.
Gary is a former Executive Director of a Training Provider who has also worked as a Manager in Further Education and as a Senior Consultant. He has over 25 years experience in Post 16 Education and has worked with Colleges and Independent Training Providers right across the United Kingdom. A nationally recognised expert in SFA and EFA funding Gary is also an accomplished auditor and all round problem solver.
Kate’s career initially specialised in working with young people and adults who had fallen off the education ladder, jumped off it, or never got on it in the first place. She is particularly interested in the ways that we make learning accessible to those who believe that education is “not for the likes of me”. A consultant, trainer and current inspector, Kate has also acted as interim quality manager with colleges and other learning providers. Kate has been inspection nominee on 8 separate occasions.
After an initial career in the schools sector Clive established a successful training organisation which he ran for the 20 years prior to its acquisition by a College. A consultant with 15 years of experience Clive is a current and registered inspector who has conducted over 150 inspections in organisations including Colleges and Training Providers. Clive’s focus is on organisational improvement with inspection preparation, self assessment, improving teaching and learning, equality and diversity and safeguarding, being his primary areas of expertise.
Bob served as Her Majesty’s Inspector with the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted) for nine years after previously being employed as an education inspector within the Adult Learning Inspectorate (ALI). Bob is a current and active inspector and has led, assisted and participated in over 400 inspections in further education and skills providers including colleges, adult and community learning, workbased learning and prison education as well as inspecting safeguarding arrangements.
