About Mercare
Mercare is a family owned and run business. Lead mechanic and Eddie Tortora began his career at Isaac and Uren , Valley Road in Plympton, where he spent five years before moving on to spend the next fifteen years at Plymouth's then Mercedes-Benz dealership, M. Thomas (Continentals) Limited. Eddie left M. Thomas to start a partnership with two other gentlemen, which became Mercare.
When the other partners retired Eddie took sole ownership of Mercare and in 2010 turned the business into a registered company, with wife Joan becoming a director and taking the reigns within the office while Eddie has been running the mechanical side of the business.
Mercare grew quickly and moved to new larger premises in 2012 to keep up with demand. Since that time we have installed MOT testing facilities and continued to expand the team, now employing twelve staff.
Mercare are the largest independent Mercedes-Benz specialist in the region, with many years experience and a helpful can-do attitude which keeps our customers coming back to us, even when they no longer own a Mercedes.

Mercare have been specialising in the repair and maintenance of Mercedes-Benz in Plymouth from our premises in Sutton Harbour since 1994 and now we have grown into brand new premises at Estover.
Over the years we have developed and expanded our range or services and we are now able to service or repair any make and model as well as offering MOT testing, tyre fitting and other services. At Mercare, your vehicle is in safe hands, whatever it is.
