Steve Gerring manages the company on a day-to-day basis. He is ably supported by a dedicated team and has access to numerous 'specialist associate consultants and trainers' with whom he has built relationships over several years and can be relied upon to deliver the quality of service expected by our clients.
The team at UKHSE Limited call upon years of experience to provide a broad level of knowledge and skills that complement each other. The consultants are all members of professionally recognised bodies such as the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH), International Institute of Risk & Safety Management (IIRSM), Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM), Association of Project Safety (APS), Association of First Aid (AoFA) and the United Kingdom Asbestos Training Association (UKATA). As the Managing Director, Steve is responsible for the day-to-day management of UKHSE Limited. His past experience includes industry sectors such as warehousing & distribution, ship building & engineering and the construction industry. This provides a broad expanse of knowledge to call upon when assisting clients with their Health & Safety systems. On a regular basis he is involved in the delivery of solutions to meet clients’ needs, whether this is in ‘policy development’; CDM Co-coordinator services or the delivery of a ‘tailor-made’ training course. Meeting new and existing clients and networking with other businesses is another enjoyable aspect of the role.
Paul joined UKHSE in September 2009. Over the last 30 years he has worked within various sectors of industry including Heavy Engineering, Public Transport, Warehousing and Distribution, the Business Mail Sector.
With extensive experience gathered whilst working within several industries Paul is ideally placed to provide advice and training to our many and varied clients.
As a result of his most recent role within the Royal Navy in a ‘teaching’ capacity he has the proven ability to meet the needs of a wide range of audiences making him an ideal trainer.
Paul joined UKHSE in April 2012 to assist with the delivery of food safety training and also to provide assistance with the delivery of our contract to conduct work experience risk assessments.
Natasha joined UKHSE in September 2009 and now balances life with her family with working part-time for UKHSE. Her role is now assisting with the medium and long term course planning and the maintenance of our web presence. In addition she assists with the development of new business and monitoring of customer enquiries using social media tools.
