Bryan Thomas and his colleagues have helped the University through the critical early stages of our Capital Masterplanning process. Having quickly established productive working relationships with key stakeholders in our Academic Divisions, they have used their positive grasp of project briefing and programming techniques to marshal our diverse range of complex inter-related projects. Their considerable skill and expertise has helped us to drive value from our capital budgets, to mitigate risks and to ensure that the delivery of the Capital Masterplan will help the University to achieve its major academic ambitions.
Bryan Thomas and his team have advised the University over several years and have been instrumental in helping us to save space, time and other resources. They work in close partnership with us and our academic colleagues to tackle complex issues in a rigorous way.
CPB Projects have assisted the School of Health Sciences at City University London in the creation of our new Nursing pre-registration curriculum, due to start in September 2012. Their experience in HE curriculum planning, particularly within Health has proved to be a valuable asset throughout the process.
CPB Projects have brought a professional and approachable manner to the work they have undertaken for the University. They respond enthusiastically to set briefs through detailed and wide ranging investigations, engaging with staff and consultants to ensure a successful project can be delivered on time.
Newham Sixth Form College engaged CPB Projects to work with us on developing our initial thoughts on a major redevelopment of our campus, producing a masterplan for the future, and giving us the basis to procure a design team for the first phase. We were keen that this was an inclusive and consultative process, and CPB worked closely with all our major stakeholders. They were always sensitive to the needs of the College, and the parameters that they were working in. The outcome of the process was a plan that reflected our needs and clearly demonstrated that we had listened to staff, students and parents. The College’s governing body has accepted the plan, and we are now on the way to making it a reality. I am convinced that without the expertise of CPB this would have been a much longer, and much less satisfactory process. I am keen that CPB remain involved in the project, as I value their skill, enthusiasm and knowledge, and feel that I can rely them as a commercial partner to the College.
