ABOUT CUSTOMIZED COVERS LIMITED

We provide customized wheelchair covers for all types of specialist seating systems. Our covers are all removable for ease of for washing.

Welcome to Customized Covers

In 1990 Sue Harrison was given the opportunity by Jean Atkins, sister of Kenneth Ackerley, who was involved in the design of the original matrix seating system to work part-time making matrix seat covers. Sue was given a zig zag sewing machine which was installed in a converted garage in her family home and after a weeks training from Jean, she was ready to go.

As time progressed it got busier and in 1995 Sue had taken on pretty much all the work and Jean was ready to retire. Now in a position to buy the company it meant that Sue could expand on the range of fabric choices and style of covers, as different seating systems were now being designed from various companies and hospitals.

Still growing year by year in 2004 it was time to move Customized Covers away from the family home. This started a new era for Customized Covers. With more space and everything under one roof and still expanding, by 2009 it became a Limited Company.

Proud of the the company's achievements and going that extra mile to ensure everything is delivered to schedule. It never goes unnoticed that Sue is backed by her dedicated long standing team.

Customized Covers aims as a company are to provide a first class service to all their customers with attention to detail from start to finish.
