ABOUT ALAN FROUD LIMITED

Alan Froud Limited is a family run business that was first established back in 1970 by Alan & Audrey Froud trading as Alan Froud Wholesale before we later became limited in 2008.

It all started with Audrey delivering door to door selling home-grown produce. This proved to be very successful and over time the opportunity to open a green grocers in Wimborne arose alongside the running of the wholesale business which to date is still on the original site at Kings Lane, Woodlands.

Whilst the original shop in Wimborne and then its later relocation to Crossroads Nursery in Woodlands are now memories the wholesale side of the business has vastly continued expansion over the years.

Fast forward to the present day and Alan Froud Limited trades now in not only Fresh Produce but Potatoes, Prepared Produce, Solid Fuel & Dry Goods for the takeaway establishments.

The current proprietor is Barry heading into his fourth decade at the helm. Alongside him is wife Sharon who has supported him and worked for the business for 35 years.

The business really does include a majority of the family with Tom, Natalie and Kelly involved also.

This means we are now heading into our third generation of family within the business with a fourth generation within the wings. (You are never too young to learn the ropes!)
