As an eco-loving gift shop supplier, Rainstick only stock beautifully handmade, sustainable products. Everything that comes from Rainstick tells its own story with handmade gifts and multicultural musical instruments from all corners of South America, Africa and South East Asia. When you buy something from Rainstick, you are not just buying a gift, you are contributing towards sustaining livelihoods and communities. 

Unlike other unique gift wholesale suppliers, Rainstick only believes in fair trade. This means all suppliers are paid upfront for the goods they produce, generating a trustworthy partnership between the consumer and the provider. By doing this, we provide remote producers with a platform to export their products where they would otherwise be unable to do so. The vast majority of Rainstick products come from developing countries where profits are crucial to sustaining livelihoods and enabling quality of life to improve. 

By trading in handmade goods only, we do not contribute towards the functioning of large factories and instead encourage all suppliers to create individual items of cultural value. This helps to maintain the relationship between crafts and culture as our producers are free to interweave elements of their culture into each product. 

In addition to cultural values, all of the products are created without damage to the environment. Considerable amounts of the products Rainstick stock come from naturally sourced materials. This includes wood and clay which are decorated with non-toxic paints. By doing this, we really aim to reduce our carbon footprint, which you too can do by making us a supplier.
