We are a small animal veterinary practice.

All of our staff work together as one team striving to provide a professional and friendly service for you and your animals in a relaxed atmosphere.

You might have seen MRCVS after a vet’s name – that means they are a member of the RCVS and qualified to practise in the UK. We are an Accredited Small Animal Practice.

To be accredited, practices must pass a rigorous inspection carried out by an experienced Veterinary Surgeon. Areas covered include hygiene, health and safety, and the facilities and equipment provided, to name just a few of the many criteria.

We did not expect to find a whole intact Kong in his stomach! Mystery continues...it wasn't even his Kong! We think he must have found it when he was exploring off lead when on a walk. We are super pleased to report Teddy recovered brilliantly from his surgery and was loudly singing within hours. He is now recovering at home in his medical pet shirt which looks like a big babygro! This is a wonderful example of the beauty of pet insurance too - the claim will be sent next week for the insurance company to pay us direct, so Teddy's parents have one less thing to worry about. You can't always see what your pooch is getting up to when on a walk, all you can do is try to be vigilant and always seek help if they show signs of being poorly. You are one lucky pooch Teddy!
