Stead Robinson Chartered Accountants was founded in 1984 by Andrew Stead and Philip Robinson in Kirkburton.
We are located in the lovely village of Honley near Holmfirth with close transport links to Huddersfield town centre, Leeds, Wakefield, Barnsley and Sheffield.
We are a friendly, experienced team of accountants who work together to deliver our clients an exceptional service so they can achieve what they want from their business and reach their goals.

Philip joined the practice in 1996 and has managed the changes during this time. Philip qualified as a chartered accountant in Sheffield in 1984. After obtaining his practicing certificate he has worked in both practice and industry being FD of a company in Leeds. Philip looks after a substantial and varied portfolio of clients and takes great pride in his work and the relationships that result from it.
Sally joined Stead Robinson in 1991 and has been here ever since, being our longest serving team member. She knows every aspect of the office and has implemented many of our systems to improve the running of the office. Sally is responsible for the day to day operation of the accounts function. She has accumulated a vast knowledge of the practice and solid relationships with our clients in her time with us. Her specialism is her knowledge of IRIS and Sage software which enables her to assist our clients and train the team in most matters.
Tanya joined Stead Robinson at the beginning of 2015. She provides clerical and administrative support and is responsible for our marketing and social presence.
Sam joined Stead Robinson in 2009. He joined the practice after completing his A-levels and continued studying for his AAT qualification.
Sam has now completed his AAT and is responsible for Accounts preparation and VAT returns. In his time here at Stead Robinson Sam has built strong relationships with our clients and is a valuable member of the team.
Deena joined Stead Robinson in 1994. During this time she has undertaken various duties including Payroll, VAT returns, Sage bookkeeping and secretarial services. Deena is responsible for the running the payroll department for a number of our clients and offers a friendly professional service.
