The Barron clinic was established 30 years ago and has been providing Chiropractic in Walton-on-Thames to this day. Over the last few years the clinic has expanded to provide other types of alternative therapies, ones that we feel complement each other well. We currently have 2 masseuses offering sports and deep tissue massage, an acupuncturist and a podiatrist. We offer 1 on 1 Pilates also. The aim is to provide clients with an alternative to conventional medicine, whilst maintaining an excellent working relationship with the local medical profession.
The Barron clinic was established 30 years ago by Simon Barron, and has been providing first-class Chiropractic care in Walton-on-Thames to this day. Julian Welch bought out Mr Barron in 1999 having worked with him for 5 years, and over the last few years he has expanded the clinic to provide other types of alternative therapies, ones that we feel complement each other well, and offer a comprehensive range of alternative medicine. The aim is to provide clients with an alternative to conventional medicine, whilst maintaining an excellent working relationship with the local medical profession.
He has been in practice as a Chiropractor for 21 years having graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (A.E.C.C.) in 1994, worked at the clinic since then and owned it since 1999, having worked closely with Mr Barron previously. Under his management he has introduced many complimentary therapies, to add to the wealth of experience which is found at the clinic. With the skills of his Chiropractic profession and with the help of his Applied Kinesiology knowledge, he is respected within both the Chiropractic and Medical fields as an exceptional diagnostician and practitioner.
He is a keen cricketer and has taken his own medicine in recent years doing Pilates weekly, which has improved his overall health greatly, and is recommended to everyone.
graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 1994 having been a classmate of Julian Welch and has worked in Twickenham since 1995. Since that time he has obtained a postgraduate diploma in Extremity Chiropractic (1997) and more recently has completed a postgraduate study in Dry Needling (Western Acupuncture), both of which have been, and continue to be, of particular use in his practice. He is very keen to introduce all his patients to self-help spinal exercises regardless of age or occupation in order to complement his treatment. He joined the Barron Clinic in January 2014, bringing the combined years of being in practice of all 4 Chiropractors at the Barron Clinic to an astonishing 77! You can’t beat experience!

She specialises in treating hormonal imbalance in relation to Fertility, Pregnancy, Miscarriage, Menopause and any of the associated emotional and physical stresses that accompany these issues.
Alison explains how her interest developed into a specialism, “the more I treated pregnant ladies the more I became fascinated with the various hormonal changes that occur during their term. I was often asked to help naturally induce labour so that they could avoid the post ‘due date’ threat of chemical intervention, a pending situation that often brings on stress and anxiety”.
Fertility treatment includes looking at all the associated problems such as Endometriosis and PCOS. Alison treats for natural conception and supports clients through the physical and emotional challenges of IVF protocols. Often treating to support the body recover from affect of miscarriage, or for pregnancy distress and anxiety, she offers Hypnotherapy to help address the emotional trauma so often associates with these experiences.
