“Established in 1992, Timbermat has successfully grown into one of the UK’s largest independent suppliers of temporary roadways and ground protection solutions.”

Our expertise and knowledge within this industry has helped us to achieve a national customer base boasting nearly all of the country’s top civil engineering and construction companies. Our ground protection mats or bog mats have been tested and approved by both the Utilities and Rail industries through the UVDB and Link Up Supply chain network.

Our extensive stock allows us to provide every customer with the right product for their particular requirements. Whether it be for a one tonne excavator or a 250 tonne crane, we have a mat to meet your specifications.

A complete design package, risk assessment and method statements are provided, and all works are carried out to comply with current health and safety regulations and any site rules provided by the customer.

To complete our service we have a long standing business relationship with a national haulage contractor, this allows us to respond to urgent requirements and means we can usually have ground protection mats on site the same day, or within twenty four hours of the enquiry.

Themis Support Services is a subcontracted professional company who advise Timbermat on all matters relating to Health and Safety, and offer guidance on Environmental issues within the company and on the products we supply. This service can also be provided to our customers on site if required.
