ABOUT ADDISON PLANT LIMITED

Bill and Lynne Addison formed Addison Plant Ltd in 1989. Together they have developed and expanded the company to become one of the North East’s leading civil engineering contractors.

All our employees are trained to the highest standard and, as well as the mandatory CSCS/CPCS cards, all our operatives now have the road and street works qualification. We also have a number of CPCS slinger signallers and a crane supervisor. Our supervisors have all attended the 5-day site manager’s safety training course. It is due to our skilled labour force and specialist plant fleet that we are able to take on a large variety of civil engineering contracts.

We are also a member of Northern Counties Safety Group who regularly audit our sites and look after our general health and safety. Our systems are regularly audited by CHAS and Achilles whose accreditation we have achieved as well as ISO:9001.”

We provide a range of services including substation construction to NPG spec, crane pad design and construction, access roads and in situ structures and surfacing works.

We use up to date GPS equipment to enable us to quickly survey the existing ground and provide cut and fill modelling.
