ABOUT ADDS LIMITED
Julian Hopgood is an Architectural Technician and previous to setting up ADDS Ltd., worked in private architectural practices in the West country and Channel Islands for over 25 years.
The built environment is hugely important to the well being of occupants to provide the right type of accommodation for the desired lifestyle. This includes careful design of layout for function, quality of layout, amount of natural light, levels of comfort, aesthetics, attention to detail, sustainability and relationship to the site and surroundings.
ADDS will take on projects from concept and produce scheme designs to explore options and alternatives leading to a full planning application if required.
Some projects can have contentious issues as far as gaining planning permission is concerned and ADDS can recommend and work with Town Planning Consultants to help provide the best case for approval.
Most projects require building regulation approval and ADDS can prepare and submit information to obtain local authority approval. This may include liaising and working with a structural engineering consultant.
