YCE are dedicated to helping unemployed individuals back into long term, sustainable employment or to access training opportunities.

Yorkshire Coast Enterprise (YCE) was established in 1985 as one of the first Enterprise Agencies in the Yorkshire and Humber region and quickly became widely acknowledged as a key deliverer of quality support in the area. YCE’s vision is to raise skills and aspirations in the communities in which it operates. The organisation aims to achieve this by focusing on employability and enterprise in order to assist personal economic independence and a powerful entrepreneurial culture.

We support these to progress and achieve their goals by gaining employment, becoming self-employed, undertaking volunteering opportunities or progressing onto further learning/education. Skills acquired are employability training, confidence and wellbeing. We also offer one to one mentoring and advice, information and guidance. We deliver diagnostic careers guidance and can deliver training in: Enterprising Skills, Employability, Security, Customer Service, Business Administration and ICT.
