At Flatout Cycles we aim to bring you this high end equipment but at a fraction of the ‘as new’ price. All the preowned products that we sell have been checked and thoroughly tested by ourselves to ensure that they are of a good standard and fit for use on your bikes. If we wouldn’t use them on our bikes then we won’t sell them to our customers. Tom and Ben started Flatout in 2011. Since then we have continually evolved and fine-tuned our set up and are now in our fifth warehouse! The two mechanics, Tim and Paul have lived and breathed bikes for many years, with Paul starting out on homemade clunkers back in ’79 built from steel Road Bike frames with Cowhorn bars and shoes for brakes... Needless to say technology has moved on since then! Tim hit the ground running working sales in his local shop for a number of years before qualifying as a Bike Mechanic. This year Tom and Ben have made the move to pastures new and the Flatout dream has now passed to the mechanics! Between us we’ve raced Cross Country, Downhill, 4X and ridden trails on all the mountain ranges in the country, with countless trips to Trail Centres here and abroad. With our long running obsessions with the sport in various guises we feel we can provide you with the best possible product support and advice.
