About TipiChic
TipiChic Ltd was realised in 2012 by owner James Calvert, James and his wife Rachel own and had ran the successful wedding transport company,
The couple were aware that Lovedubcars Ltd was rapidly expanding but didn’t wish for Lovedubcars Ltd to grow any further for fear of it becoming something more than a family run business. Their love for all things outdoors and country initially made them consider outdoor events, and from there TipiChic Ltd was born.
James and Rachel have steadily built up their business over the last 10 years and during this time have built up a robust network of reliable contacts in the wedding industry, with the amount of weddings the couple were involved in during that time you would be hard pressed to find anyone else as experienced.
Both James & Rachel strive for TipiChic Ltd to provide nothing less than an honest, affordable and incredibly special experience for their customers. They are there for questions and assistance at almost any time and they are genuinely happy to help plan an amazing day.
TipiChic are based near Darlington, County Durham where from their base they cover the local area including all of the North East, North Yorkshire, Cumbria and Northumberland. Please ask us to quote if you wish us to travel further afield,
TipiChic Ltd have now created a countless number of events, mainly weddings across the North of England but also now run annual Christmas parties with our own XmasFest each December which are now a huge success.
TipiChic is a venture new to the north East, it’s about showing who you are on your wedding day and not just going with the flow, it’s about fun with formal an event that represents the couple and who they are, not just booking a venue because they have an elegant staircase…
TipiChic is an event in a tent, well a giant series of Tipis to be exact, the tipis are linked, lit and heated as required. With flooring, tables, seating, fire pit and mood lighting we can give you a chilled our or vibrant wedding in surrounding that suit your tastes.
TipiChic would be happy to simply erect our stunning Tipi structures for you in any location from your rear garden, community centre grounds, farmers’ fields, sports grounds or anywhere in between. If you would love a tipi wedding but don’t know where to put them speak to us, we have covered dozens of weddings in some amazing locations.
We can guide you through the tasks required and help you on each step of the way so that you can have the perfect wedding that reflects your style as a couple.
