Newman Refrigeration Ltd are a long established company specialising in the design, installation service and maintenance of refrigeration, heat pump and air conditioning systems. We are an established and recommended company in in Colchester, Chelmsford, Harlow, Romford, Enfield and Central London.
Between them our management team boasts in excess of 60 years’ experience in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, each of them bring their own unique set of skills and specialism to the company and help set us apart as one of the leading refrigeration specialists in the UK.
With more than 35 years of business management experience, 25 years as owner/MD of the hugely successful ‘Morris and Young Refrigeration’ and a former Fellow of the Institute of Refrigeration (F.Inst.R), John has learnt 'hands on' much about how an SME business operates in all its facets and is a veteran within the industry.
John has a common-sense / pragmatic approach to business. An all-round SME senior manager, who's not afraid to work at any levels of a business.
John is an asset and a driving force in the back office at Newman Refrigeration. His wealth of managerial and overall experience is a crucial cog in our company mechanisms.
Coming up for 15 years in the industry, Rob started his career learning the trade ‘on the tools’ at ‘Optimum Cooling’ straight after leaving school at 16. He made his way up through the ranks to Engineer whilst gaining his qualifications on day release at college. By the age of 19 Rob was out in a company van completing installations, attending emergency service calls and training his own apprentices – the rest is history…
Outside of work, Rob is still coming to terms with turning 30 earlier this year but enjoys spending time at home with his young family, socialising with friends and can occasionally be found playing between the posts for the company 5-a-side football team.
We are delighted to have David back in the UK and running our installation department - David is an exceptional contracts and projects manager with extensive and unrivalled knowledge of systems and he cannot be overwhelmed by the amplitude of any contract.
David has recently become a Daddy for the first time and when he’s not changing nappies he uses his down time to go mountain biking, play in the company football team and often organises companywide activities.
