Training 26 – A Brief History: Formerly the Commercial Training Division of Chel, Training 26 launched in July 1999 following a Management buy-out and re–branding exercise. Our aim has always been to provide customer-focused and cost-effective training solutions. One of the biggest questions, why
? In a nutshell, the company was formed on 26th June 1999, and Paul Furness, one of the original management team, liked to run the occasional marathon in his spare time.
After 18 years at the helm, Paul Furness, one of the original management team, retired on 15th August 2017, leaving the business in the hands of Mike Cunningham, a technical consultant with 20 years experience in an IT role, and Angela Jones, formerly from a customer facing role in the property industry. Angela brings a philosophy of exceptional customer service, always looking to exceed our clients requirements and expectations.
Despite the change in ownership, Training 26 have retained the services of all of the training team to ensure both continuity and also keeping the same level of professionalism and expertise in all subject matters. As part of what we would like to achieve, Training 26 are currently looking into expanding the range of courses we offer, and creating new, progressive course bundles to help you achieve the continuous improvement plans for your staff.

To complement the more formal classroom based learning, Training 26 also send our trainers out to clients premises to provide a floor walking service. This is a great asset to not only support a more formal learning plan, but also to provide much needed support when taking an upgrade path to a newer version of any software package. Floor walking is charged on an agreed daily rate with expenses to be paid in regards to travel and overnight accommodation, if needed.
