Established in 1951, Steve Tomkinson took over from his father 30 years ago. Originally plumbing and heating, the business rapidly grew to provide a full heating service including repairs. With the introduction of multi-fuel stoves 30 years ago, the business turned into a one-stop shop for heating services for home and industrial purposes. The company moved into its present property in 1986 that had originally been owned by the co-op food stores.
Due to their strong engineering background they have always pushed to be at the leading edge of heating technology. Over the past 10 years, the push for greener heating systems has become a very important part of their business. This has lead them to be one of the North-west specialists in Biomass and solar heating systems.
