I have been involved in the travel business since 1999 when I led my first tour to Turkey. For the next three years I was the tour leader for a renowned UK tour operator, leading small groups around Turkey, Greece, Morocco, India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Cambodia. It was at this point that I settled in Vietnam, where I lived for six years, working for two of the country’s leading tour operators. During this period I had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Indochina, falling in love with its culture and people. I eventually married a Vietnamese lady and raised a young family in Hanoi and latterly Saigon.
