Syed graduated at SOAS, University of London, with a 2:1 in Law and also has an LLM from King’s College, London. He trained at the Inn’s of Court School of Law before he was called to the Bar in 2006. He spent time successfully pursuing a variety of his own business interests as well as appearing as an advocate in the county courts and as a solicitor’s representative in the criminal courts. Syed entered the world of legal recruitment when he joined Abrahams Russell in 2007 and, following the merger with Fox Rodney Search, was a Senior Consultant. In July 2014 he co-founded Stephen Bell Legal and continues to focus on senior appointments in the London private practice market as well as internationally.
Daniel is an Associate Director at Stephen Bell Legal. He is responsible for providing research support to Syed and he assists with the successful execution of searches within the London and international private practice markets. Previously he was an Associate Director at our parent company, Stephen Bell Associates. In this role he gained exposure to both asset management and legal executive search, in the UK and Europe. Prior to joining Stephen Bell Associates in 2010 Daniel gained recruitment experience with a publicly listed UK recruitment business. He studied Law (LLB) at Queen Mary, University of London.
Morven is the Managing Partner of JAG Shaw Baker. Morven is responsible for the management of the day to day operations of JAG Shaw Baker as well as the development and implementation of the firm’s business strategy. Prior to becoming Managing Partner, Morven was a Partner in the firm's Intellectual Property team, and formerly was with DLA in London. Morven qualified as a solicitor in Scotland in 2001 and is a board member of the Society of Scottish Lawyers in London. Morven is also a Writer to Her Majesty’s Signet.
