After a fantastic 15 months at The Oldknows Factory we’re delighted to have moved into our new offices at the Step Business Centre in West Bridgford. As well as overlooking the iconic Trent Bridge cricket ground we’re just a leisurely walk away from the coffee shops of Central Avenue.
Since we set up in 2014 we’ve rapidly expanded our client base and successfully recruited for with a range of businesses from sole traders through to a FTSE 100 company. We’re now focusing on our Apprenticeships and Education desks – recruiting high calibre Sales, Business Development and Marketing staff who know the nuances of this unique sector. Our new home is the perfect platform upon which to build.

What do I mean by this? We often speak with people who turn down roles because the salary “isn’t as good” as the role they are currently doing. Never mind the future career prospects, working environment, business sector or the economy – people are reluctant to take any sort of cut.
People do have bills to pay and for that very reason I often encourage people to look at their six, twelve or twenty four month salary projections. Will taking a drop now to join a growing company yield better results down the line than their current salary on a sinking ship?
