ABOUT RICKETTS AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING LIMITED
As the Managing Director of Ricketts Automotive Engineering, I was brought up surrounded by car enthusiasts and was quickly enticed in to a world surrounded by Rileys, ERAs and Lotus Cortinas, with weekends spent at race meetings or “tinkering” with engine parts. It was evident, from a very early age, that I was destined to work with cars and it was vintage and classic that I chose to dedicate both my working and home life to. I have actively worked in the industry since 1999 and founded Ricketts Automotive Engineering in 2006. My wife, Elaine, also plays an active role in the company. Upon meeting me, she was introduced to “the car world” and hasn’t looked back. Between the two of us, we have a collection of both vintage and classic cars which we cherish, as much as you cherish your own, so we can appreciate many of the fascinations as well as frustrations that exist with owning them – we have infinite passion for what we do.
