We have been thinking about moving from our old, but dependable, paper-based way of working, to a fully computerised system for years. But despite our best efforts we hadn’t seen any software we thought would be suitable until Chaim showed us ‘Antiquity’. We are now in the early days of using the software and look forward to having it take over our current way of working. Initially, with such an enormous quantity of stock, we thought the job would be arduous, but the option to import data and the technical support and sound advice given by Chaim and his team has been second to none. We took time to thoroughly compare different software systems when it came to choosing the new solution we needed for our growing art business. After using Antiquity for 3 months, we are already seeing huge benefits to the day-to-day running of our business. With more than 6,000 pieces of stock, 4 sales locations, and over 20 staff, it is invaluable to hold all of our stock information & imagery, contact information, and invoice history in one place and have one ‘source of truth’ for our team to use. Bringing all of our processes into one place is saving a huge amount of time and administration, allowing our team to concentrate on the important things: our clients & our stock. We first saw Antiquity in 2008 and found it truly impressive. They really understand all the different aspects of running an antiques business and have designed a really slick program where all the modules (contacts, stock, invoicing, website updates etc.) are linked together in an amazingly intuitive way. I’m a bit of a computer novice and found it very simple to use. They imported our data from our old system, trained us how to use Antiquity and have given us terrific support which I think is as important as the software itself. It’s a relatively small investment that should pay for itself very quickly and I strongly recommend it to every dealer.

We have been using Antiquity since 2011 and have found it enormously helpful as a database for both stock and clients. The stock module is now so comprehensive that it is possible to record an almost limitless amount of detail on an individual piece as well as linking it to finances and completing VAT returns. The system also enables one to easily produce PDFs for printing or emailing and the client, stock and financial sides of the programme are all linked so one can immediately locate a client’s purchase history. We have found this programme invaluable in helping our business develop and would definitely recommend discussing your requirements with the Antiquity team.

We have been using Antiquity for the past eight years and the time we save by running this fully integrated system is invaluable to us. We love the ability to totally integrate our stock information, our customer details, emails and invoices.
