The founder and Owner of CDL Group. Having been in Management for over 15 years and a true investor in people ‘Eddie’ will tell you, “My job is to employ people that are better at their individual jobs than I could ever be” and he believes that is what he has achieved at CDL Group.
As an ISO Lead Auditor himself Steve brings vast experience from the Management Systems Industry having worked within it for over 20 yrs. He is tasked with running our team of ISO Auditors and Consultants and says, “I chose a career at CDL Group as they exemplify all that a company should be in today’s testing times; professional, caring and helpful”.
Wayne is our Training and Materials testing guru. With qualifications in NDT, H&S, and weld inspection, he is in charge of our material testing, training and welder qualification arms of the business and in his words “we are there to help you pass, not watch you fail”.
Julia is our Level 3 AAT and book-keeping expert who takes charge of all our office accounts and invoicing. She very organised and manages every aspect of our day to day running; "If you have any questions, I will do my best to help you as quickly as possible".
Dave joined the company in February 2016 and offers a wealth of experience. Dave is a 'time served' welder/fabricator with 14 years experience. Dave has is PCN Level 2 trained (Dye Pen) and a CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector. Dave says, " I can offer a true insight and understand the full requirements of all the components as I myself have been through the entire testing process. This wealth of knowledge means that I can fully support you in order to pass and give practical solutions to any questions you may have".
Steve Russell - Business Development Manager (South)
Steve is our business development manager and has a wealth of experience in CE marking in accordance with EN1090 as well as ISO certification. He has over the years guided well over 100 steel fabricators through the CE marking process successfully and is very client focused. "Having spent 4 years dealing with steel fabricators in order to get them through CE marking naturally gives me a total understanding from the fabricators point of view. Service and value for money is important to me and I make sure our customers feel the same”.
Sarah has been brought into the team after many years in Education. She has always been involved in I.T. and helped develop the social media presence in her former job so when invited to join the company this seemed like the perfect fit. "I'm looking forward to boosting CDL's profile and making the CDL brand synonymous within our market".
Kieran Mcgee - Business Development Manager (Ireland)
Kieran has joined CDL Group Ltd with over 20 years of experience in Weld qualification/ CE marking /EN1090/NDT Services and ISO certification. Having assisted many customers through the difficulties of understanding what is required for these standards and explaining it does not need to be too costly I am very customer focused. The values of CDL dovetail very well with my own core beliefs which I have honed across my previous roles in Industry which have always been service, value and honesty.
