Our approach is simple; quality service, passion for great food, pride in the quality of (our sometimes quirky) British food producers, great gift boxes carefully packed and a simple low-fuss UK and international delivery service. The result is great gift hampers that you can be proud to give to anyone, anywhere and which we are proud to produce here in the tranquil, unassuming Lincolnshire countryside.
We feel enormous pride at the depth, diversity and quality of wonderful food now being created by small, artisan and independent food producers and entrepreneurs here in the United Kingdom, and we are delighted to be able offer a fantastic ‘taste' of Britain in our careful selection of luxury gift hampers. We like to think of our hampers as a joyful celebration of the exciting and passionate British food landscape.
At British Hamper, our luxury food hampers are packed with delicious, imaginative, exciting and often innovative and award winning foods from independent British producers – with two notable exceptions; our retro sweet hampers which are nostalgic, fun and British (but hardly artisan) and our wine selection which, with just a twinge of hurt pride, is foreign leaning as our cousins in Europe and South America really do have a lucky climatic advantage over us as well as truly impressive winemaking pedigrees.
The part funding from the EAFRD enabled us to expand our warehousing and storage premises at our head office in North Carlton near Lincoln which helped double our order fulfilment capabilities and increase our support of the local rural economy with new employment opportunities.
