About Canary Care
The team at Canary have a passionate philosophy that we should all be supported to stay in our own home for as long as we are able. We believe we should all respect and value the contribution that older people can bring to society and that their happiness should be a real priority.
but the information and notifications can be a real support and help to avoid small health issues becoming more serious. There is a good deal of evidence that if hospital stays and health crises can be avoided or reduced then long term wellbeing is enhanced and life at home should be longer.
Social care funding is never out of the news and we respect and empathise with Local Authorities looking to make the budget go that bit further despite significantly increasing demand for support and care. Canary can be part of the solution as its evidence shows exactly what care and support is needed and when, so that the right help can be put in place when its needed. We are very excited about our NHS Test Bed work to demonstrate that Canary facilitates more informed care and therefore increased wellbeing.
We believe that the technology we use should have a positive and preventative impact on people’s lives, supporting them to live fulfilling later years. Existing telecare and alarm systems have their place in highlighting emergencies, but it’s better to see the signs earlier and prevent those issues developing into an emergency. Canary helps us all care better.

I could not recommend this product more highly. It is such a helpful system for all the family
Canary Care let me know that Dad was out of bed, and therefore not ill, and that he was in his routine. The alerts I put in place would also allow me to know if he had fallen and couldn't move. It was a great reassurance.
My partner has Alzheimer's dementia. For anyone living with dementia, I strongly recommend having the Canary Care system installed in their home. There is an alert if the person leaves their home when they shouldn't. The Canary Care staff are very friendly and helpful and explain how the system works.
Canary Care takes the data and gives you insight, to help you make the right call and prevent little niggles turning into bigger problems.
