Duncan Edwards Founder of the Company

 and was later the Head of Advocacy of a medium sized Legal services company. Most recently He was employed by the Royal College of Nursing in Yorkshire and the Humber and the North West as a Trade Union Officer. He has represented at NMC hearings. He has over 20 years experience in Employment Tribunals and has appeared in most Tribunals in England and Wales.

I founded the Company because I wanted to represent Claimants and provide a quality service at a reasonable price.

The statutory cap on damages based agreements i.e "No win, No Fee" is 35%, so a Claimant on such an agreement would see a maximum of £6,500 out of a £10,000 aAward. This is a maximum because the Claimant will most probably be responsible for the costs of disbursements as they are incurred. A medical report required for the Hearing is a disbursement that may cost anywhere between £200 and £600. Whilst our agreement still requires the client to pay disbursements I have capped the Agreements at 30% and discounted the sum payable to  10% if it is settled via ACAS prior to the submission of the claim and 20% if it is settled within 1 calender month of submission of the claim. It is discounted to 25% if it is settled prior to the date for exchange of witness statements. It is discounted to 27.5% if it is settled 7 days prior to the Hearing. 

The same principle allows me to offer through the Company a fixed fee day rate of £300 inclusive of all charges for representation at Hearing conditional upon availabity and receipt of documents relied upon at the Hearing at least 72 hours prior to the Hearing date.

as part of an insurance policy. If so you may want to contact your insurers. We offer  damages based agreements where you pay us a percentage of any award or settlement obtained. We also provide last minute representation so if you have a Hearing scheduled and you decide that you need an experienced representative then we can offer you that from £250 for a full day.
