Franco Welsh Ltd
has come such a long way since its humble beginnings in London in 2008. From a little market stall to dominating the crepe making business market place in the UK, here is a brief summary of our journey so far.
Created in 2008, La Creperie de Sophie was our first company & trading name. It was set up following its French founder Loic Moinon’s main passions for food and business. Today (nearly 7 years later already!), we operate from Llantwit Major, South Wales, and the company operates a small fleet of vehicles ready to come to you. We employ up to 6 chef crepiers in the summer months and still attend major events throughout the UK.
In 2013, a new company was born and 2 brands created within it: ‘
‘ offering both specialist crepes and absolutely unique vegetarian cuisine. That year Pancake World Ltd (our sis’ company) was also incorporated, looking after the manufacture and worldwide distribution of batter mixes and creperie equipment.
