'After completing my studies in 1998 in Business Finance, I initially worked with Barclays Business Banking where I obtained varied experience and knowledge in the Commercial Finance field and the services offered to businesses. In 1999, I then joined the Royal Navy as a Warfare Officer. Although my interest did lay within the financial field, I felt that this experience would strengthen and develop further my personal qualities that are so important for a successful career today.
After leaving the Royal Navy, I then obtained a role as a Commercial Bank Manager with HSBC, SABU (South Asian Banking Unit). Here, I spent several years helping a varied range of West Midland Businesses and gaining a valuable insight on what businesses require and how commercial lenders can help.
After gaining several awards for my outstanding performances as a CBM, such as the Birmingham AMG Award, I decided to set up my own Company a few years ago. By doing this, it has allowed me to provide transparent and impartial advice to companies and as a previous CBM with a leading Bank, I feel I am in the best possible position to undertake this service'.
