Ocean Hydraulics was founded as a business in Cornwall (UK) by Mike Curnow in 2003, primarily as a service provider to the Offshore/Nearshore Marine Construction and Site Investigation Industries.
Mike has a strong background in engineering manufacture, product design and development through to site commissioning, feedback to design and production processes for some leading European manufacturers.
A close working relationship with partner Steve Cuddihy (Bsc) has developed over the last decade and together offer a very comprehensive design and production package. Steve has a long and illustrious career in design with the Defence and Offshore Industries.
All production is UK based and we are pleased to provide links to our preferred engineering contractors.
Historically offshore site investigation power swivels have been and still are in most cases, either modified oil field swivels or modified land drilling swivels, we are now pleased to produce a range of swivels that are specific to the ‘Offshore Site Investigation Industry’.
