In these early years the family firm that employed me along with their master fitters and Kidderminster carpet college helped to instil the traditions and skills needed to become a fully fledged fitter in all aspects of the trade.
The positive, no worries approach the team had whilst dealing in the most demanding market truly had an effect which still resonates in Ocean Flooring.
Several years later and back in the uk people were asking me to do more and more private work in the evenings and weekends. So with a growing reputation Ocean Flooring was created. By fusing my traditional background with what I’d learnt overseas we were able to create a company that’s truly unique. I believed and still do that our hands on experience gives us a real insight into products that can’t be learnt in a showroom.
These days Ocean Flooring are grateful to have a whole wealth of clients including first time buyers on a budget, home builders, designers, Rock Stars and hopefully YOU!

Ocean Flooring is owned and run by craftsmen from the carpet and flooring trade so we’re able to share our huge wealth of unbiased knowledge on any flooring product.
Our specialist fitting team are all experts in their own field. We won’t send the carpet fitters to install your timber or LVT fitters to install your carpets. We choose our team carefully, they represent Ocean Flooring and are proud of what they do because
Ocean Flooring is built on honest values, we share our profits with our staff, we train, educate and invest in apprenticeships and we are
