I started potage with £1,000 savings in October 2012 and for the first year worked 7 days a week, doing everything myself. I cooked from my mum’s kitchen, delivered locally on a bicycle and had a Saturday stall outside Books for Cooks in Notting Hill.
To launch potage, I sent out an email with a weekly menu to 15 local friends and family in October 2012. There was no minimum order and only one pot on the menu each day. In the first week I did 7 deliveries and £101 total sales.
At potage, we believe healthy eating is a balance of quality, quantity and frequency, and each person's diet varies depending on their own activity level, nutritional needs and goals. All our meals are handmade using top quality, fresh ingredients. Our focus is on sourcing the best quality ingredients, portion control and the importance of ‘eating well together’.
Whatever we are doing, as a team we always work with the environment in mind.
1. Source seasonal, local ingredients whenever possible. Whenever possible we do our best to buy seasonal, local produce to reduce the energy (and associated CO2 emissions) needed to grow and transport the food. If it's locally sourced it's also seasonal which means fresher, and therefore tends to be tastier and more nutritious.
"I wanted to express how awesome the service has been. Potage has not only provided us with delicious, healthy meals, but more importantly it has given us more of the most valuable thing in the world, time. No longer do we need to create menus each night, cook, clean and debate on who fancies what. It gives us more time to enjoy each other and the things we love in life. Thanks you Potage team. Keep the good food coming! Patrick & Basia"
we're adding a hamper worth over £40 of Moogoo skincare product.

Welcome to potage
I started potage with £1,000 savings in October 2012 and for the first year did all the cooking at home, delivered locally on a bicycle and had a Saturday stall outside Books for Cooks in Notting Hill.
Our goal is to deliver delicious, handmade meals in a sustainable way. All our meals are handmade by our cooks in small batches, just as you would at home. We work closely with top quality, local suppliers to make sure we're always using the best, seasonal ingredients and over 95% of our packaging is made from plants not plastic.
Over the last five years the business has grown almost entirely organically, thanks to our loyal customers. Today we deliver to offices and homes across central London and I write a food column for the London Evening Standard.
We really value the personal relationships that we have built over the years and look forward to introducing you to the full potage experience.
We cater for large and small groups, on a regular or one off basis. All our meals are available in both individual boxes or sharing platters, and a complete list of all ingredients & allergens on each product page. Benefits of a corporate account include:
