ABOUT SILVERLINE WEB SOLUTIONS LTD

We are delighted to report that the charity received a donation of 5 lap-tops from Tools with a Mission (TWAM), this is good news for our children who are studying IT but with no computers. All their learning is text book based. The lap-tops will also be used at our Saturday Club.

The Saturday Club is doing well and our volunteer teacher, Tapiwa, is also our 6

Form student whom we started supporting this January. 2 of our children will be sitting their Grade 7 exams at the end of this year, the Sat club is a great help to support them prepare for their exams. Grade 7 is equivalent to Year 6. We are delighted that Tapiwa is learning leadership skills as well as developing others.

We recently took on board 3 children from the same family (Tapiwa mentioned above and his 2 sisters, Tsitsi (year 3) and Tinevimbo (year 8). This family lives with their mother in a small roomed cabin, their father sadly passed away and mother is unemployed. The family is facing a lot of challenges and any in-kind help such as blankets, clothing is most welcome.

We get a lot of referrals, sadly, we are declining as we are not in a financial position to take on more children.

We are planning to launch a mentoring programme towards the end of this year. This will be open to ethnic minority women aged 25+, please do get in touch if interested.
