Sports Generation is a high calibre swimming coaching company, cofounded by Christian Kenny and Christopher Whitworth in the summer of 2012 to deliver superior small group and shared private weekly swimming lessons to adults and children. Lessons are taught by fully qualified and highly experienced coaches who are passionate about swimming and provide safe, productive sessions, developing strong, skilled and happy swimmers. Sports Generation currently coaches over 2000 children every week in Central London, West London, Surrey and Hampshire, at prestigious health clubs and luxury private residences.
In addition to our highly experienced coaches and directors, Sports Generation is supported by a management team with a wealth of experience in their respective fields.
LSPC’s comprehensive offering means that Sports Generation’s clients will benefit from a ‘one-stop shop’ service, including technical surveys to determine servicing and maintenance requirements, the monitoring and management of water chemistry to ensure people swim in hygienic water (and provision of all chemicals), general pool cleaning, and monitoring and maintaining the efficacy of the plant room equipment. In addition, Sports Generation is able to offer emergency call-out services via LSPC.
Clients who opt for regular pool servicing via Sports Generation will have a dedicated LSPC service engineer who will accumulate knowledge of the client’s pool. In the event of an unexpected issue with the water or plant room equipment, the LSPC pool engineer can correct it quickly and cost effectively.
LSPC will ensure that wear and tear on pool plants does not go unnoticed, replacing any worn parts with new and often more technologically advanced products. Also the maintenance team repair and service boilers, heat pumps, de-humidifiers and air handling units, as well as carrying out sand changes of pool filters or upgrades from sand to glass filtration.
Sports Generation enjoy close association with local nurseries and schools, frequently advertising in school literature and promotional programmes, and providing raffle prizes for school fairs and events.
For example we recently provided a week long complimentary Intensive Holiday Course as a raffle prize for Rokeby Summer Ball, Coombe Hill, Kingston.
In addition, we are happy to provide curriculum swimming and football to nurseries and schools; we currently provide swimming lessons for Gwendolen House Nursery in Putney every Tuesday and Wednesday morning.

We are committed to ensuring that all coaches, directors and employees comply with the Sports Generation Health & Safety Policy and that all venues are risk assessed and fit for purpose
All coaches recruited by Sports Generation are fully trained and qualified in first aid and emergency pool procedures. We provide continual training once employed (minimum twice yearly), to ensure standards are maintained and critical first aid skills are top of mind. Training incorporates the latest up to date aquatic and dry-side first aid procedure, including CPR for babies through to adults.
