Winsford Body Shop Ltd is a small independant body shop and is now in its 40th year of trading. Alan Davies and Kelly Comboy started the business in September 1973. As time moved forward, Kelly retired out of the business and more recently Alan Davies has retired but still works within the company. Andrew Joyner started at the company on a YTS in 1986 and is now our company director and he is also a hands on worker. Our Body shop is manned by one panel beater and one paint sprayer at the moment, whilst in the office there is a part time receptionist. Our work comprises of both insurance referrals and private customers. A fair amount of our work is accident related but we also do a lot of cosmetic work, restorations of classic cars and some kit car repairs and even tractors/panels. We do work for our local ford dealerships and we do a small amount of commerical work but this is limited by our size. We are members of the VBRA (Vehicle builders & repairers association) and have been since 1978. We are able to provide our customers with free courtesy cars (Over 21 years of age), Which we lease from local dealership and all our work is fully guaranteed.
