Guildford based Karen Beard established KWB Human Resources Ltd in 2011 with the simple aim of offering smaller businesses access to a professional and qualified HR practitioner on a “pay as you need” basis.

She has 13 years experience in recruitment, HR and personnel roles both in London and the Home Counties for companies operating in sales, advertising and most recently law as Head of HR for TWM Solicitors LLP, one of Surrey’s largest law firms.

“After a series of mergers we were employing around 180 people, in 6 locations across Surrey and South West London. I hired Karen to establish and run the Firm’s HR function in 2004.

What stood out about Karen was her commercial awareness; the way she applied her knowledge showed that she understood our business. She saved the management team time and money and reduced our risk as employers.”
