The brainchild of our Research Director, John McCusker, Kwest was established in 1989. John remains very much hands on with the research work we do and in the day to day running of the company.

Quality defines everything about us. We have a series of stringent quality control procedures in place throughout the projects we undertake to ensure that high standards are maintained. But it isn't simply about compliance with the proper procedures, it is also about our unwavering focus on engaging with our clients' requirements and making sure these are reflected in all that we do. Nothing is outsourced at Kwest - we keep firm control on quality by using our own, highly trained team for everything we do.
We are a Market Research Society Company Partner, fully compliant with the MRS Code of Conduct. We also adhere to other industry codes which provides assurance to the general public with whom we interact, our clients and other interested parties that our research is carried out in a professional and ethical manner. As would be expected, we are registered under the Data Protection Act.
John has a BSc from Liverpool University, and an MBA from Manchester Business School. He has more than twenty years experience in housing research and has been involved with Kwest since its inception in 1989. He is a hands-on Director, getting involved in all aspects of Kwest service-delivery and conducting some of the most complicated research that we do.
With a BA from Manchester University and more than 13 years experience of social sector research, Lisa is one of the most experienced and talented members of the Kwest team. She has worked on well over 350 projects at Kwest, covering customer satisfaction research, housing, regeneration, personnel research, health services, general user surveys and resident perception surveys. She is expert in all elements of survey processes, including design, sampling, implementation, reporting and analysis. During her years with the company, Lisa has overseen every part of our projects, undertaking additional training as a Field Manager and Telephone Supervisor, to supplement her knowledge and experience as a Project Manager.
With a First in her degree, and a background in research from the financial services sector, Susan fitted seamlessly into the Kwest team from the moment she came on board in 2008. She has worked on a wide variety of postal, telephone and online projects on the social research side of the business, managing many of our largest and most challenging projects. Susan is highly experienced in data analysis and is our in-house expert for the Kwest Online Analyst. As such, she has been involved in the analysis for our most complex research and specialises in bespoke programming for many of Kwest’s large service monitoring and customer satisfaction projects.
Jane now provides project support and undertakes Kwest's marketing activities - developing our sales strategies, preparing tenders and making sure that Kwest continues to strengthen its visibility and position within the sector.
