ABOUT ISOMETRIC PRODUCT DESIGN LIMITED
year at DMU, I was a finalist in the BASF design awards. This led to my career truly taking off at Hotpoint where I was employed as their Lead Product Designer. Over the next 15 years I developed various platforms/aesthetics identities for the different brands and the developing tastes of the consumer. Delivering some of the most recognized and award winning domestic appliances, with two being displayed at the Design Museum in London I ultimately became Group Industrial Design Manager in 2004 at age 33 with responsibility for designing goods from washing machines, refrigeration, cooking, dishwashers and built-in products.
My name is Darren Holmes. I am a freelance product designer based in the Midlands and I have over 20 years’ experience in the fields of product and industrial design. Whilst working for some of Europe’s largest consumer product brands, I have designed innovating and market leading products that have enabled sector ownership for the brands involved.
