James Varley ACA MBA DChA is the principal Director of Deane Consulting. James is a Chartered Accountant with wide and varied skills and experience. He spent five years working in firms such as KPMG leading audit, tax and accounting projects. He has twenty years experience as a Finance Director of various large and small enterprises. He has extensive experience leading finance teams with top 250 charities, small companies and other businesses.
James has a been involved with many start up ventures ranging from health ventures to security and fire alarm businesses. His work has brought him an expert understanding of the range of issues that businesses face today. His experience ranges from museums and galleries to solicitors and property investments. He has a deep understanding of the funding sector for charities and has a special interest in social investing.
