Michael brings to the company a unique skill set. Training as a nurse in his birthplace of New Zealand, he came to the UK in 1985 where he specialised in intensive care. Within this demanding environment he looked after patients recovering from cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery and trauma. The need to interact effectively with critically ill patients, their relatives and attending medical staff enabled Michael to develop effective and empathetic interpersonal skills that have been further honed over the following years.
Michael has, through extended training, also developed skills and abilities within the fields of coaching and psychotherapy, providing carefully tailored one-to-one counselling to many private clients.
