Welcome to the 8th West Oxfordshire Business Awards
The West Oxfordshire Business Awards (WOBAs) formed in 2011 to fly the flag for business and entrepreneurship in West Oxfordshire, a district that punches well above its weight for the local economy. The categories are reviewed each year to make them as inclusive as possible.
The Awards are here to bring the business community together and promote its achievements. The WOBAs’ aim is to celebrate and connect over 8,000 businesses in the area. It costs nothing to enter; businesses large and small have the opportunity to gain local recognition and shout about their work.
The WOBAs are organised by a team of people who all have day jobs. Every year, they dedicate their time and skills to making the WOBAs a success.
Having won the Charity Award in 2017, Bridewell Organic Gardens is the WOBA charity of the year for 2018. Bridewell is a mental health recovery service providing social and therapeutic horticulture in a working garden to adults living in Oxfordshire. Their goal is to help people into jobs or voluntary roles out in the wider community.
